Since ancient times, Yugawara's hot water has been called "Yakushi no Yu" (hot water of a pharmacist).
The ideal quality of this mildly salty and mildly alkaline hot spring is very gentle on the skin.
The private spring water gushes out endlessly from the premises at a temperature of 52°C. The water is abundant and clear.
Since the establishment of the former Sekitei, our own hot spring water of 52.2 ℃ has been gushing out endlessly.
The open-air baths are built of black pine trees and stone, and are perfect for star-gazing at night and basking in the fresh sun in the morning.
We have a warm cypress bath and a stately stone bath. You can enjoy the view of the mountains of Yugawara while bathing in the baths.
The hot spring water overflows into the stone-built open-air bath, gently and softly enveloping you as if you were dressed in a thin silk robe.
You can sip the hot water and enjoy its smooth and mellow feeling.
The "Uguisu-no-yu" (bush warbler's bath) was named after a Japanese bush warbler that flew in to warm itself in the winter.
Surrounded by lanterns and garden trees, you can look up at the stars at night and bask in the refreshing sunrise in the morning, and enjoy a blissful time.
